You should consider the location somewhere near your office/home and
easy for you when you are on busy schedule.
2 - HOUR...
24 hours open! Look around first before you join any membership...
at least 12 hours in operation.
3 - MEMBERS...
Your choice!! Whether it is for men/ladies/mix gym. And most importantly,
not TOO CROWDED.
4 - STAFF...
Helpfull/supportive and informative assistance (trainer/staff) will be much
more better. Certifications and qualifications of the trainers in important also.
5 - CLEANLINESS...
Environment - cleanliness is important. As for any extra services provided
such as free towel, locker room should be clean/hygiene.
6 - EQUIPMENT...
Ask the trainer/staff whether the equipment is in good condition and ask
for their assistance if you are the first timer using the gym equipment.
7 - CLASSES...
Variety of classes are important as each individual prefer to choose their
own type of exercises. Some people like to do aerobic, some like to do
muscle conditioning, others like circuit training exercise...etc..
8 - FEES...
Membership payment by monthly? Quarterly? or maybe you can get discount
if you pay yearly membership? Promotions that can be waived for members
and etc....

OVER TRAINING? OVERDOING! DON'T!
Have your ever seen people rushing to the gym and start doing exercises or physical training to the extreme in terms of intensity, frequency and duration? It seems like they are overdoing it? Pushing themselves to the limit that they've shouldn't yet doing it. By doing this, you will end up to see doctor sooner than you thought!
When we over work our bodies, problems will arise as when you exercise beyond your body capability this will tend to effect your physical, chemical and mental imbalance.
The typical signs of overtraining includes:-
* Insomnia
* Aches or pain in the muscle/joints
* Fatigue
* Muschle and eyelid twitches
* Headaches
* Loss of appetite
* Moody, easily irritated
* Loss of enthusiasm for the sport
* Increased incidence of injuries
* No strength or size gains for an extended period of time!!
